Developer Terms

Draft version 2026-10-01-draft. These terms will be reviewed by a lawyer before GlobalGameHouse accepts real payments.

1. Joining fee

  • Joining GlobalGameHouse (GGH) as a developer costs a one-time fee: ₹99 in India or US$1 internationally.
  • The fee is paid once and covers your developer account for its lifetime. It is non-refundable once your account is activated, except where the law requires a refund.

2. Your games stay yours

  • You keep full ownership of your games and all their content.
  • You give GGH a non-exclusive licence to host, display, distribute and run your games for players, and to use your game's name, cover and screenshots to promote it on GGH.
  • You may publish the same game on other platforms. GGH does not require exclusivity.

3. What you may upload

  • You must own, or have permission to use, everything in your game (code, art, music, characters, names).
  • Not allowed: stolen or copied games, malware or harmful code, sexual content, content that promotes violence or hatred, illegal content, and any gambling, betting or real-money prize mechanics.
  • Games must not collect players' personal data without their clear consent.

4. Prices and payments inside games

  • You set your game's price in GGH Coins: free (0) or at least 10 coins.
  • On GGH, games may only take payments through GGH Coins. External payment links, external ads or other payment systems inside games hosted on GGH are not allowed.

5. Your earnings (80/20)

  • You earn 80% of the coins players spend on your game. GGH keeps 20%.
  • For earnings, 100 coins are worth US$1, regardless of the currency the player paid in.
  • Earnings are tracked in coins in your developer dashboard.

6. Payouts

  • You can request a payout once you have at least 500 coins of earnings (US$5).
  • Before your first payout you must complete identity and tax verification.
  • To protect against card chargebacks and fraud, earnings may be held for a period before they can be paid out.
  • Earnings from fraud (for example buying your own game through other accounts, bots or stolen payment methods) will be cancelled, and the account may be closed.

7. Review and removal

  • Every game and update is reviewed before it goes live. GGH may reject or remove games that break these terms.
  • You can unpublish your game at any time. Where possible, players who already unlocked it keep access.

8. Closing your account

  • You may close your developer account at any time. Earnings that are eligible for payout will be paid according to the payout rules above.

9. Changes to these terms

  • GGH may update these terms. We will notify developers before important changes take effect, and the version you accepted is recorded with your account.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of India.
